Chocolate chia pudding

As I said before I really really love dessert! I also love chia seeds. Chia seeds were the food of the ancient aztecs. They are high in protein, fiber, essential fatty acids, and calcium. I really love chocolate too. I just don’t want the dried, roasted, processed, mixed with dried milk solids, chemical, sugar filled chocolate. Raw cacao powder and cacao beans and nibs are considered a superfood. Cacao powder has more antioxidant flavonoids than any food tested, including blueberries, red wine, and green tea! Cacao is the highest whole food source of magnesium. It has many healing and feel good properties due to phenethylamine PEA ( the neurotransmitter responsible for the feeling of love!)

Chocolate chia pudding is so easy its ridiculous! Here’s how..

1/3 cup chia seeds

2 cups basic nut milk

2 tablespoons agave, honey or a packet of stevia

1 or 2 heaping tablespoons of cacao powder ( blend cacao powder with sweetener and nut milk)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Blend cacao powder, vanilla, nut milk together in high speed blender and pour over chia seeds in bowl, stir and let sit 10 minutes then place in refrigerator 4 hours or overnight.

Garnish with fresh strawberries, bananas, and cacao nibs!
